Community Evenings, Ceremonies, and National Days
Community Evenings, Ceremonies, and National Days at the Israeli Hug Center October 7th Memorial, Yom HaZikaron (Remembrance Day), and Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)
At the Israeli Hug Center, we carry memory as a part of our community’s beating heart. Far from home, from our families, and from the places where we grew up, we create a space where we remember together in Hebrew—building ceremonies that restore a sense of belonging, identity, and meaning to everyone.
Our memorial ceremonies are more than just events; they are a community opportunity to pause, listen, share stories and songs, and shed a collective tear. It is a place where our children and youth learn where we came from, who our heroes are, and what our responsibility is to continue creating light.
